Biovie is a consortia of naturally occurring Bacillus spp. that protects the crops against a wide range of foliar, seed and soil borne fungal and bacterial plant pathogens which causes diseases like Wilt, Rot, Damping off, Root rot, Blast, Blight, Mildew, Canker etc., Biovie promotes plant growth and induce systemic resistance in plants.
Mode of Action
Biovie produces antifungal and antibacterial lipopeptides such as surfactin, iturins, bacillomycins, daptomycin, fengycin and plipastatin etc. which causes disruption of the cell membrane of the target organism and inhibition of spore germination of fungi.
It also helps in initiation and enhancement of systemic acquired resistance (SAR) in treated plants against phytopathogens
Production of biosurfactants ensure high competitive ability excluding other microbes from the rhizosphere
Benefits
Enhanced Protection – Protects the plants against fungal and bacterial pathogens
Resistance Control – Multiple modes of action prevents the development of resistance to the product by the target pathogens
Flexible Application – No residual effect, so can be applied at any stage of the crop.
Integrated Management Tool – Compatible with registered fungicides and pesticides.
Eco-friendly and safe to users
