Nematode management
Product contains consortia of Paecilomyces lilacinus spores for effective management of plant parasitic nematodes.
Mode of Action
Paecilomyces lilacinus is an egg parasitic fungi which parasitizes eggs, cysts and egg laying females.
The fungi alters egg shell permeability by production of chitinase, serine protease, glucoamylase.
Also produces diffusible fungal toxins such as lilacinin, paecilotoxin, leucinostatin and acetic acid.
Benefits
Controls effectively the economically important nematodes like root knot nematodes, burrowing nematodes, cyst nematodes, lesion nematodes etc., among wide range of crops
Inherently less toxic than conventional pesticides
Affect only the target pest
Does not create resistance, resurgence and residues problem
Helps to increase the productivity by containing the nematode pests
Controls the nematodes effectively at all stages like eggs, larvae, pupae etc.,
Helps in preventing the damages in the root system caused by nematodes which generally lays eggs in the root tissues
